Castor oil pack for liver Detox

Castor oil has been used as a traditional medicine for detoxing the liver and inducing removal of toxins out of the body. The castor oil is a remedy placed on the skin directly over the liver or stomach or even breast. It enhances the detox process especially when recovering from a surgery or detoxing heavy metals accumulated during years of breast implant illness, exposure to enviromental toxins, use of personal care products as well as foods containing preservatives and chemicals. The castor oil has a drawing power- it will stimulate the lymphatic system and circulatory system to move stagnated energy and waste products out of the body.

How does it work?

The essential fatty acids, in particular the ricinoleic acid that castor oil contains, encourages movement of chemical energy within the body, resulting in a detoxifying effect. The heat from a castor oil pack increases blood flow in the liver and may improve oxygenation to target tissues and increase the lymph flow throughout the body, which eliminates toxins and helps reduce swollen lymph nodes. Studies have shown that castor oil’s main constituent ricinoleic acid increases the levels of T-11 lymphocytes in the top layers of the skin augmenting normal immunity. This component has been shown to reduce acute and subchronic inflammation

How to make the castor oil compress?

Ingredients

Organic Castor oil (hexane free)

Organic white cotton or Flannel fabric

Heating pad

Zendocrine detox blend drops (optional)

Old towel and or blanket

Castor Oil Pack: A Step By Step Guide

  1. Spread 2-3 tablespoons on your organic flannel/cotton and rub it in and spread it throughout the fabric. Alternatively, you can soak the sheets of flannel in a bowl of castor oil. Make sure you use all the sheets to make a “pack”.
  2. The flannel should be dripping with organic castor oil so use more castor oil if you need to. Place the flannel right below your right rib cage where the liver is located. Wrap it around your body with a towel (no plastic). If you are treating poor digestion, you can place the castor oil pack on your stomach area where it will help with constipation.
  3. Next, put yourself in a reclining position, whether you are laying down on the bed, floor, or couch. Just find a comfortable place where you can relax for the next 45-60 minutes.
  4. To avoid leaking castor oil on your bed or couch, you will want to place an old towel and or blanket on top of the flannel.
  5. On top of the towel place a heating pad.
  6. Stay in this position for at least the next 45 minutes to an hour.
  7. Remove the pack and wipe yourself down with a damp washcloth.
  8. Keep the flannel in a bag and store it for the next use. You do not need to wash it. Store and refrigerate. You can use the castor oil pack up to 30 times.

Final Note

If you are on a detox journey I highly recommend that you can do this castor oil treatment for a month. Your body will need assistance in eliminating the toxins it was exposed to for many years. The Castor oil pack is best done when you are also following at the same time a clean Plant Based Diet with green juices such as celery, and cucumber apple parsley combo juice. The Heavy metals smoothie is also recommended because the spirulina and dulse help pull out of the liver heavy metals.  .

Last reminder – Hydrating the body with drinking at least 8 glasses of water will also help move out of the body waste products while improving your immune system and joint health.
