Gluten Free Almond Bread
What is a Gluten free bread -Gluten is a general name for the proteins found in wheat (wheat berries, durum, emmer, semolina, spelt, farina, farro, graham, KAMUT® khorasan wheat and einkorn), rye, barley and triticale – a cross between wheat and rye. This recipe does not contain gluten and is free of traces of gluten. This protein also known as lectin can be damaging to the intestines and may cause as many as 200 symptoms from headache to bloating and weight gain and may even compromise the immune system.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups of almond flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 small organic eggs
- 3 tablespoons Psyllium fibers
- a pinch of sea salt
PREPARATION:
Mix all ingredients Well
place on top of a baking sheet a large spoon of the mix
( brush it before with coconut oil to avoid sticking of the bread)
place it in the oven at 200 degrees
Bake about 15-20 minutes or until ready
serve with honey or blueberries jam
