The Importance of detoxification

It’s widely recognized that breast implants can introduce a range of toxins into the body over time, including silicone and various chemicals, pathogens, viruses, and heavy metals, which compromise health. As these foreign substances leach into the bloodstream, they can trigger immune responses and systemic issues, making detoxification beneficial and essential. 

The removal of breast implants marks the beginning of the body’s healing journey. Still, thorough and mindful detoxification helps cleanse the system, restore balance, and support the body’s natural healing capabilities. Understanding Detoxification

Detoxification is a complex, multi-phase process that the body naturally undertakes to neutralize, transform, and eliminate toxins. These toxins range from environmental pollutants and chemicals to endogenous waste products that normal cellular pathway activities produce.  This system involves a series of metabolic activities primarily carried out by the liver, kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system, and skin. The body naturally initiates and enhances detoxification under various conditions, often in response to the internal and external environments.

How can we kickstart elimination pathways?

To open the detox pathways, we must provide our bodies with a clean diet, plenty of hydration, and some type of intermittent fasting, all of which create optimal conditions to enhance elimination. To help the main organs eliminate, we must provide the liver with glutathione and a diet rich in antioxidants and alkaline water.  Fasting for 14-18 hours will help the body divert energy to elimination mode. Skin application of Castor oil pack induces liver detoxification while dry brushing and lymphatic massage stimulate circulation and toxins elimination through the kidneys, lungs, and skin.
